After piling his pickup into a sky-high snow drift, Dean Knight knew the best chance for survival in this desolate stretch of Indiana winter was the shadowy structure on a nearby hill. The Neva Monastery. Relieved that his family was at least finding shelter with safe, pious people, Dean shuttled his shivering wife and twelve-year-old son into the "Spiritual home of the Radenyi."
